XIX Century Italin Mazarin Desk
A XIX Century Italian rosewood and ivory inlay Mazarin desk (after Cardinal Mazarin) featuring a top with six small drawers over a flat writing surface with an ebonized border with canted corners. This sits over two towers with three drawers each, a center drawer and a kneehole with a door. It all rests on four legs to each tower which are joined by an "X" shaped stretcher. This desk is all over heavily inlaid. It is 56 in. wide by 25 3/4 in. deep by 42 1/4 in. high.
