World War Two "Buy War Bonds" poster, featuring Borden's Elsie the Cow in red, cream, and blue, measuring approximately 38 inches by 20 inches. This patriotic piece of memorabilia encourages "everybody every payday" to support the war effort by spending 10% of their income on war bonds. The Borden Company copyright is in the lower right corner. The poster is affixed to a cardboard backing and is suitable for framing, if desired. It appears to have been framed at least once during its long history, as evidenced by the missing top layer of paper along its borders.
