WWII Colored Sailor Letter details Racism, Murders, Military Cover-ups & Colored Troops Heroics. 5 Page very well written by a Colored Sailor "Alfred" stationed in the Philippines in 1945. "Well, now that censorship has been discontinued, I will tell you the naked truth about what's going on between the White man and the Colored Man and Red Cross women". Letter give particulars of the murder and cover-up of a Colored Sergeant by a White Lieutenant; the murder of a Colored Red Cross worker by Colored enlisted men because she was fooling around with a white officer; the 93rd Colored Infantry killing 30,000 Japanese to save a white marine division and securing an island (with all the credit given to the white Marines); and General MacArthur's dislike of Negro soldiers. A very powerful and important document on African American history.
