WWII Army Air Medic Sweetheart's Pin Gold wash over sterling
Unavailable
This are uncommon and the best I have seen. Also, the staff in the center is gernerally that and not a sword, and the wings are lower on the staff. I bought this from the recipient, an 80+ year old lady who was given it by her boyfriend in WWII. Both he and her were a doctor, but she was in med school during the war. This looks to have all the stones and the pin is fully working and marked sterling on the reverse. Also has a "72" inscribed in it. A wonderful piece and 1.5" in length and width. The gold wash has wear.
