WWI Private Treptow Soldier Poster Bravery
Antique World War Private Treptow Bravery poster from 1918. The private, who died heroically by machine gun fire, was noted for the note in his pocket that he had scribed; "I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost as if the whole issue of the struggle depended on me alone". Backed on heavy linen and free of repairs, perhaps unused. This is about 30" x 20". A nice poster and original to WWI and printed and donated by Robert Gair Company Brooklyn NY.
