WW11 Sterling Sweetheart carved HEart bracelet

Unavailable

Increasingly coveted and valuable as they approach "antique" status, World War II sweetheart jewels are particularly touching pieces of history. This one was made even more special by its owner's great care. If she wore it at all, it would have been very rarely, Dating from 1942-1945, when the U.S. was at war, this is one of the more unusual ones with a heart carved out of the silver coin on the front. This one measures 7” x 1” and contains a substantial amount of sterling silver -- more than you'd expect for such a dainty item. The coins are three and six pence dated 1943.  VintageSparkles offers Layaway on all our pieces regardless of which site it comes from. All layaway payments will need to be in the form of a check or money order only.
