Woven Throw Rug 27 X 41"

Unavailable
This is a rectangular cotton rug with fringe which was woven on a 1950's loom in Central Ohio in 2007. The weaver cut a chenille bedspread into strips and then used it to weave the rug. What's interesting is that the rug was made from a 1950's bedspread on a 1950's hand loom. The rug is light in color, white with a muted regular pattern of blue and mauve. The matching fringe is mauve, light blue, and medium blue. Nice for a child's room, or could be used as a wall hanging.
