This is a very nice clean, ornate tachometer, or speed indicator marked "WOODMAN'S PATENT SEPT. 12, 1876" around the center of the graduated dial face. Still work fine! Nice ornate cast features, no damage, it is in fine condition, with very good gears and teeth, and about 96% of the original nickel plating intact! Measures 3.5" long overall, 1.25" dial face diameter.
