Wonderful Mid 20th Century Vintage Sterling Silver Pendant and/or Brooch from Taxco

This is a wonderful modernistic pendant-brooch from the silver masters of Taxco. The cut outs on the top piece could be a flower or just an abstract design. What really sets this apart is the under piece of oxidized silver that gives this pendant so much depth. It is stamped Taxco, 925, Silver in a circle with the hallmark of EMT in the middle of the circle. There is an eagle mark but is so worn you can't read the number-BUT Bille Hougart's book on the Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks says the EMT hallmark used the eagle # 209. IT is 1 3/8" across and weighs 6.8g.
