Antique Wine Bottle Free-Blown Glass Olive Green 4" Kick-Up RARE! Ca. 1800 Ships Hold

$150.00
Quantity available: 1

Free-blown bottle from the 1700's-early 1800's.  Olive green wine with 4" deep kicked-up bottom.  Designed to interlock with the neck of the next bottle in line to secure in the hold of the ships they were transported in.  Likely European.  Flattened string rim, stretch marks and bubbles in the glass.  Bottle is lop-sided and wobbles lightly, though stable enough to stand on it's own.  The only damage found are a few scuffs to the surface, and small de-corking chips to the upper rim.  Measures 12"h x 3"d.  Sold as is.  Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
