Likely English, this comb back Windsor is constructed of rich oak. The seat and height of the back are very stylish for the period - especially the slight peak to the crest of the chair. Dates to circa 1800. Measuring 34 1/2" high (back) by 20 3/4" wide. The seat measures 16 wide by 15 1/2 high - which appears to be the proper height. The arms measure 26" high.
