This lantern,light has the Winchester emblem. I believe it was a hunting light/lantern. Uses 4 D cell batteries. It can be hand held or clipped to your belt or perhaps a head piece as a miners lantern.The pat. number on it is 1996577. a neat Winchester collectors item.With a bit of cleaning, this should work.
