Whitman's Chocolates Happy Thoughts Ad 1931 This is an October 1931 advertisement It is a nice black and white ad from Stephen F Whitman & Son of Philadelphia. Pictured is a young girl seated and working on a Sampler that reads Whitman's. Please note all the ruffles on her dress and her shoes with the strap. Bet they are patent leather !! In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 8"" wide by 11 3/4"" tall.
