Throughout the history of the White House, presidents have planted trees throughout the 18 acres surrounding the presidential mansion  From Andrew Jackson to Barack Obama, each president has kept this tradition alive.  Each spring, the White House hosts "Gardens & Grounds", a chance for the public to stroll the South Lawn and experience history as it grows.   This special limited program helps explain where each tree is located and its special relationship with the The White House, a tour that includes the Rose Garden, the children's garden, and other special places.  This program was from the era of FIrst Lady Patricia Nixon and is undated.
