Where's Master? By Caesar. (I am Caesar. I belong to the King - inscription on Caesar's collar). The story of the loyalty of a dog to his master the King. Toronto: The Musson Book Company, n.d., circa 1910. Limited. 12mo., 53 pp., cream paper over boards, brown lettering and illustration, illustrated pastedown of dog on front cover, lightly soiled and lightly rubbed, endpapers heavily toned, prior owner's name and date on front free endpaper, black-and-white illustration frontispiece tipped in from a drawing by Maud Earl and from the photogravure published in the Illustrated London News. Also laid in, a real photo postcard of King Edward with Caesar (in Very Good condition), and also including a photograph dated 1919 (written in the margin) of King Edward's funeral, and Caesar is visible walking in the funeral procession. Very clean content, in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition.
