This wonderful open sugar bowl is in the Berlin pattern which is pattern #124 according to my Westmoreland book. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks but has the expected roughness in tiny spots here and there and along the seams as well as bubbles here and there. This pattern was made for F.W. Woolworth in 1924 and even though it was sold inexpensively in a dime store, it was still hand made glass as opposed to all of the machine made glass Woolworth sold. The other name for this pattern besides Berlin according to my Gene Florence Pattern ID book is Plaid #124. And some seem to call it "Reeded Waffle" Measures 3.75" tall and almost 3.5" wide at the top not including the handles.
Oh..and just to throw a wrench in the whole thing with this pattern, just for kicks... Adams Glass also made this pattern and it was called Berlin back in 1874 and it's a possibility this is made by Adams as well.
