Westmoreland "Milk Glass" Cat on Lace Base This composition was first made by Atterbury in the late 1800s. The molds were subsequently bought by Westmoreland Glass Company of Grapeville, Pennsylvania. Westmoreland produced this Cat on Lace Base in the 1950s entirely by hand, using the same methods that were used by Atterbury Glass Co., therefore, producing the same top quality product. It's authenticity is certified by the Westmoreland seal which contain their initials which are pressed into the bottom of the glass. Markings: The Westmoreland trademark is embossed on the bottom of the dish. Condition: Excellent: The milk glass is not stained, cracked or nicked. Featured by Suzeattic at www.goantiques.com
