For Sale is a Lovely piece of pottery made by the Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The shape is a Jardiniere and the pattern is known as "Etna". The inside opening is approximately 8 1/8" in diamter.

The Jardiniere depicts Embossed Roses in Full Bloom on Trailing Stems and Leaf Clusters. The piece is Slip-decorated and the Backgound Glaze starts as a Mossy Gray, Green at the Top of the Jardiniere and graduates to a very soft gray to Ivory at the bottom. The Roses are a Pastel Pink with some Lavender Hues to complete the look. What a nice addition this would be to a Victorian decor or someone adding Romance through Florals.

The Jardiniere is considered to be in Excellent Condtion as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. There are a few small Glaze misses but not noticable as they are insignificant and not post factory. The Jardiniere is signed with the impressed Weller" Block Signature. It is truly amazing this pot has survived over 100 years and in such great shape!

The Jardiniere was made Circa 1906.
