For Sale I have an adorable piece of Pottery made by the Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Form is an Outstanding Arts and Crafts Era Pattern. The Pattern resembles that of an Indian Basket Supported by four Buttressed Feet with a Ringed Neck. The detail and quality is just outstanding. The legs seem to flows through the basket rising above the top lip. The mottled Matte Cucumber Green Glaze kinds of reminds me of Hampshire Pottery's Green Glaze. The Glaze is on the inside and areas of the outside show that wonderful Gloopyness. The piece is considered to be in excellent condition as the only issue to report is a Glaze miss on the lower part of the top ring and a Glaze Pop on the inside of the Vessel. The piece is unsigned but has the well known Weller Pottery Blue Green Painted bottom. This Matte Green Vase will enhance any Art Pottery Collection and will display well on that Stickley, Mission Arts and Crafts Bookcase. This Pattern will also work in Indian or Southwestern Style Decor as well~~
