From the Wedgwood collection of a retired RAF officer is offered an outstanding Wedgwood Black Basalt Robert Burns bust, ca. 1870. The bust shows amazing detail in the clothing and expression of the subject. It stands 8 inches tall on a bolted plinth base. It is incised Wedgwood and has the Y date mark on the underside of the base. It is also incised Wedgwood and Burns on the back. A wonderful addition to any Wedgwood collection.
