Beautiful antique Wedgwood cobalt dip jasperware Muffineer. The white cameo pieces depict classical women making sacrifices to Ceres or some other harvest deity. The groupings are separated by trees and shrubs. An olive wreath circles the top.
The cover is silverplate. It has star-shaped piercings and and a pointed finial. It fits over a silverplated collar.
Impressed with WEDGWOOD mark on the bottom as shown in photo.
Circa 19th C.
Measures 7 inches tall, 3-5/8 inches wide at largest diameter.
Very good overall condition. No dents or repairs to silver plated top. The plating is worn from polishing as seen in photos. A tiny stem is missing from the olive wreath. Two other cameo pieces have very small chips as shown in photo. No cracks or repairs found.
