Beautiful Wave Crest or Wavecrest Helmschmied Swirl Box. This box is hand painted with a floral decoration. Delicate purple scrolls define the area where flowers are executed in raised enamels. Also features brass mounts and what appears to be the original lining inside the top or the lid of the box.

MEASURES: 5-1/2 inches across, 3-1/2 inches tall.

Very good condition. No chips, cracks, dings, or repairs. Only some minor paint loss from use and age. Lining is shredded as seen in photo.
