This is a very nice, vintage Yankee style push drill with the rare mark "WALTHAM GERMANY" on smallest shaft. It is very similar to the North Brothers Yankee drills, in fact the same size drill as the North Brothers No. 41 will fit in the chuch of this tool. This one is 9.5" long overall, with a spring type chuck. The storage compartment for the 8 included drills is provide, and opens the same way as the No. 41 type drills. I like this model a bit better than the No. 41, nicer knurling on the handle and chuck, and a bit more heavy duty. This one is in about 98% like new condition overall with nice nickel plating, very minor wear, and a complete set of 8 drill points, also in very good used condition. A very rare tool, is super nice shape!
