Here is a very unusual solid walnut revolving bookcase. What makes it so unique are the small locking cabinet doors on each side. The bookcase is in the Eastlake or Arts and Crafts style. The bookcase revolves on a heavy duty pedestal with large casters. Each side has 2 shelves, each measuring 11” wide and 9” tall, and a cabinet measuring 9” wide by 9.5” tall. Each door has its original working lock and brass key escutcheon. There is one key which works all the locks. The finish is in excellent condition. The bookcase is extremely sturdy and rotates smoothly. What a cool piece of furniture which is perfect next to a comfy reading chair!
