Fancy walnut Victorian half commode with an original cookie cut corner white marble. The drawer has a flower carved pull and racetrack molding. The cupboard door has a recessed shaped panel with a large bold carving in the middle. (There are two hardly noticeable vertical cracks in this door). The thick molding around the panel features a carved band of fruit, leaves and flowers at the top. The entire front is burled. The front sides are both open carved. A fine quality night stand that can be used in most any room of the house! Circa: 1860. Dimensions: 31″H x 20.5″W x 17.5″D. Finish: Fair to good original finish with a dark rich patina. The secondary wood in the interior and back has normal blemishes. Price: $1495.00
