Vintage West German Rensie 1 Jewel Alarm Clock

Vintage West German Rensie brass alarm clock, with 1 jewel and classic styling. This elegant wind-up clock features a silvery white enameled dial, and brass hands and numbers with green enameled accents. The round dial, about 3.5 inches in diameter, is covered by convex glass; "RENSIE", "ALARM", "1 JEWEL", and "WEST GERMANY" are written in brass on the dial. The clock is framed in brushed brass, with with a sturdy base, columned sides, an arched top plate, and a triangular brass carrying ring. It would make a nice table, shelf, or desk clock. On the back of the brass clock housing are 4 knobs for winding and setting the clock and the alarm, a lever for adjusting the speed, and an impressed "WEST GERMANY". There is a tiny lever on the side of the clock that turns the alarm on and off. The alarm has a pleasant ring. The clock is in very good working order, with surface wear to the brass, and a small scratch and a couple of tiny nicks in the glass which are difficult to see without magnification.
