You are looking at a Victorian style gentlemen’s chair. This chair has a balloon back with arms and the upholstery is button tufted on the backrest. The wood has a rosewood finish and there is a metal tag on the inside of the back right leg that reads “Victorian by Kimball”. The original manufacturer’s tags are still on the bottom of this chair. The fabric is yellow gold velvet and is in good condition. There are some discolored spots on the seat and one on the lace trim just under the crest of the back splat. The arms and front legs are carved. There are a few nicks and scuffs on the legs but nothing unusual. There are no rips, tears or odors in the fabric. We do have a matching sofa for sale in our store so be sure to check it out as well. I do not know the exact date the chair was made. This chair is vintage and will not be perfect. This chair measures 46 ¾ inches tall, 26 inches side to side and 30 3/8 inches front to back. It weighs 37 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.
