Here we are offering a set of 2 Victorian style chairs. There is a ladies chair that has balloon back styling and button tufted back and arms. The arms on this chair are low and fully upholstered. There is 1 button missing from the upholstery and there are some worn spots on the seat of this chair. Overall it is in good condition. This set also includes a gentlemens chair and it too has button tufted back and arms. The arms on this chair are taller and have a carved wood post on the front of the hand rest going down into the front legs. This chair also is showing some ware on the seat and one of the buttons is very loose on the right arm. The chairs are made of rosewood and the wood is in excellent condition on both chairs. The back of the seat rail is stamped Victorian on these chairs. The upholstery is deep burgundy velvet. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This set is vintage and will not be perfect. The gents chair measures 43 ¾ inches tall, 26 5/16 inches side to side and 31 inches front to back. It weighs 37 pounds. The ladies chair measures 41 15/16 inches tall, 26 5/8 inches side to side and 29 5/8 inches front to back. It weighs 32 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.
