Vintage Victorian Pietra dura Mosaic necklace

 This is like a little piece of Italian art history on a beautiful necklace. BLack onxy or marble that has slices of colored stones are cut with a small saw or copper wire into shapes and fitted together to form this lovely floral design.Usually these were memorial pieces that held the memory of a loved one. This one has a silver tone chain that is 16" long and is made to look like a slither serpent. The drop is an additional 2" long. This has a pretty filigree antique clasp that just finishes this feminine necklace. IT is in very good condition too! \
