Vintage Turner Wall Accessory - Head of Christ, C. 1957

Vintage Turner Wall Accessory - "Head of Christ", patented 1957, in beautiful gold-painted, wooden shadow box frame. This wonderful piece features a portrait of Jesus Christ in very soft, subtle colors, in an oval gold frame, matted in taupe with gold corner decorations, all within the shadow box frame and covered with plastic "glass". On the back is the Turner label with the item number and identificaton number, explaining Turner Wall Accessories. There is a patent number stamped above it along with DO NOT HANG ON BRASS RING, FOR DECORATION ONLY. This lovely piece is in very good to excellent condition, especially for its age. Several of the small nails used to hold the picture in the frame have been hammered all the way through the frame and slightly protrude; it looks as though this was done at the factory. The underside of the pane of plastic should be cleaned. Otherwise this piece is in excellent condition. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition.
