Vintage stamp dispenser and letter scale on modernistic black base. This charming mid-20th century desk accessory features a goldtone round metal stamp dispenser which attaches to the base with a brass screw-on finial. Also attached to the base is a metal counterweight scale which has a letter holder and a red-tipped dial, and measures up to 2 ounces in increments of 1/20 of an ounce, with demarcations for every half ounce. The bottom of this piece is lined with felt-like fuzzy paper and has a "Made in Japan" foil label. This accessory measures approximately 3 inches high, 5 inches wide, and 2.5 inches deep. It is in good to very good condition, with light to moderate surface wear, and appears quite functional. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition.
