A great set of Monks Salt & Pepper Shakers. Both are holding what looks like a cup of ale in their hands. One is singing and the other has a huge smile on his face. One measures 4 1/2" high and the other stands 3 1/4" high. They both have a gold & red foil label on the bottom that reads: Made In Japan & stamped in black are is H-571. They both have their original plastic stoppers although they will have to be replaced. There are no crack, chips or crazing. There is a spot of color loss on the tall monks elbow as you can see in my pictures. I got several shaker sets from a woman's' estate who had collected over 500 shakers from the 50's & 60's. Her shakers were displayed and not used. I believe these shakers are from the 60's. I will be listing more of these shakers!
