VINTAGE SILVER FAUX JADE PENDANT CZECHOSLOVAKIA

Unavailable
Striking Czech oriental style pendant from the pre WWII era. Faux Jade glass stones are set in what appears to be silver setting with nicely executed filigree back. This is great NEIGER example of the BEST in 1920's Czech Jewelry. Between two World Wars, the Neiger Company was the most renowned Czech costume jewelry maker. The most important international retailers and exporters bought from Neigers because they were the fashion trendsetters. Their exotic (Egyptian and Oriental) designs and quality was unparallel. The saga of Neigers, who were Jewish, ended in 1942. They were arrested by Germans and killed in Auschwitz. Unmarked but definitely Czech circa 1920-30's. Excellent condition, dimension : 2-3/8" long, 1 inch wide.
