Here we have a 1950's Mid-Century Modern style chair. This chair is very comfortable and has a wide back with a strong Windsor style influenced frame. There is a large button tufted upholstered cushion attached to the crest rail for the back rest. The seat is low and supports an extra deep seat cushion. The legs, stretchers and spindles are ring turned. This chair is in great condition. The upholstery is tapestry like fabric in gold, dark orange and dark green diamond pattern. The tops of the arm rests show a few surface scuffs and wear from use. There are metal rods running along side the spindles under the arm rests for extra support and strength. We do have another chair that is exactly like this one if you are interested in two chairs. This chair is antique and will not be perfect however it is in very good condition. I do not know the maker or exact date the chair was made. It measures 29 ¾ inches tall, 29 ¼ inches side to side and 30 1/4 inches front to back. It weighs 30 pounds.
