Vintage Soviet Russian Silvertone Tea Glass Holder celebrating Russian Space Exploration in the 1960's. Decorated with a globe, the Kremlin, Rockets and Sputnik. Measures 4 1/4 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches across including the handle, glass size is 2 3/4 inches across. Authentic Russian podstakannik (meaning "under the glass") or tea glass holder. Made to hold a hot glass of tea and protect the hands from burns. The bottom has Russian makers mark (photo). In excellent condition with no dents or damage. Glass not included.
