Vintage Retro United Electric Wall Clock

Vintage mid-century electric wall clock, with great retro look. This very cool clock features a round black and cream clockface with silver and black numerals and goldtone metal trim, on a woodtone painted round metal background decorated with sculpted goldtone metal leaves. It has Art Deco style hour, minute, and second hands under domed glass on a black background trimmed in goldtone metal; the background appears to be vinyl or textured heavy paper with "United" and MADE IN USA written in gold. On the back is a label indicating Model No. 45, "UNITED METAL GOODS Mfg. Co. Inc., Brooklyn, N.Y. U.S.A." The clock measures approximately 10.25 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches deep. The clock works very well and keeps very good time. The clock exterior shows some wear and loss of finish but is intact, with no chips or cracks to the glass.
