Vintage Red Nylon Lace Petticoat Slip Tutu, a perfect of example of the Rockabilly style. This petticoat was made from the 1960's to the 1970's. It was originally made as petticoat for under a square dance dress, however, the style has continued to be popular and this style of vintage slip are often worn as a skirt or tutu as well as under a dress.
This petticoat is a beautiful shade of bright red, is a size large. There are two layers, both layers are nylon, the bottom of the slip has a red lace trim that is about 2 3/4" wide. This slip has lots of fluff to it and is absolutely beautiful.
The waist measures 28" at rest, stretching to 36". Measured from the waistband the length is 21". It is made of 100% nylon and it is hand washable, drip or fluff dry. It is vintage, and is a professionally made slip, however, it appears the nylon in the waist has been replaced at some point time, also the nylon is stretched out and will probably need to be replaced. It is in excellent condition, no holes and no stains, except for the elastic in the waistband as mentioned.
Please see our other listings for additional slips, we have several of these available in different colors and sizes. Shipping is less for combined purchases then the above quoted individual cost per item combined and will be adjusted after your order is placed.
