Rare! Triangle-shaped. Used in a darkroom when developing film. Made of metal (probably tin). Has a filler funnel & adjustment knob on one side. There is a brass name plate on the front of the round top vent "Ray of Light". Vent has a hinged lid & wire handle. One panel of the lantern is frosted red glass & the other front panel is missing....probably amber glass. The back is double paneled & has vent holes on the inside. The "guts" for the burner is missing. Hole is candle-sized. Lots to say about this unique item! Write for more descriptions, photos, etc. Height 14" with handle in upright position, 6 1/2" front to back & each panel about 6" wide.  Probably made in the U.S.A. during the early 1900's.
