Vintage Ovaltine Mug Featuring Little Orphan Annie

This mug advertises Ovaltine and features Little Orphan Annie and her dog Sandy and was made by the Homer Laughlin China Company. It is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs and the paint is good. There is a very small chip and some flakes on the bottom rim (see photos) which are hardly noticeable and do not detract from the appearance. There is also some minor wear in the green rim trim and a couple very small light scratches in the glaze. Ovaltine sponsored the Radio Orphan Annie Show from 1931 through 1940 and this mug was a premium item. It is marked on the bottom Manufactured Exclusively For The Wander Co., Chicago Makers Of Ovaltine (see photos) and is 3" high, 2 7/8" in diameter at the top and 4 1/8" across including the handle.
