This gracious deep navy blue dress appears to date from the late 1940's or early 1950's. Its fiber content is unmarked but it feels like silk. The detailing on this dress is outstanding. Its 3/4 length sleeves are shirred and its alluringly wide scooped neckline is lined with dangling marquise shaped embellishments. Dress closes in the back with a metal zipper and a hook and eye. It has string belt loops at the sides but alas, its belt seems to have disappeared sometime during the last 50 years! Tag inside reads "A Cadillac Original." A sweet cocktail dress in wonderful condition!
