Vintage Mid 20th Century Sterling Silver and Abalone Brooch from Taxco

This is a wonderful modernistic floral brooch from the silver masters of Taxco. It is such a unique design. The absence of an eagle mark or registration number dates this to prior 1948. It is stamped 925 for sterling silver, Taxco and a hallmark of what looks like CBG but it's partially worn off due to it's age. Bille Hougart's book makes reference to this hallmark. It is 2 1/4" tall, 2" wide and weighs 14.4g.
