A vintage metal-cased tape measure - the dockyard or builders type of measure - very long at 66ft, and made of metal. It measures in inches and feet, and has notations for 16 inch stud centres. Wind-up retraction handle (folding), and clip for a belt or tool apron. US Patent No. 3,141,628 Evans, Elizabeth, NJ, USA. Tape is in very good condition - outside case has some minor corrosion spots, but nothing serious - surface only. Quite heavy. Case measures 110cm square (4.3/8 inch square).
