Vintage Malco Modes Crinoline Lace Petticoat Slip Tutu, a perfect of example of the Rockabilly style. This petticoat was made from the 1960's to the 1970's by Malco Modes of San Francisco. It was originally made as petticoat for under a square dance dress, however, the style has continued to be popular and this vintage slip are often worn as a skirt or tutu as well as under a dress.
This petticoat is a beautiful shade of crisp white, is a size large. There are three layers, top and bottom layers are the solid organza or crinoline, the layer in the middle is made of netting, each ruffle is edged with satin ribbon. The top is of cool cotton for your dancing comfort. This slip has lots of fluff to it and is absolutely beautiful.
The elasticized waist has a button at the back so that you don't stretch the elastic out when taking it off and on, the waist measures 28" at rest, stretching to 34". Measured from the waistband the length is 25". It is made of 100% nylon exclusive of the trim and it is hand washable, drip or fluff dry. It is vintage, new old stock and has not been worn, so is in excellent condition with the original label attached.
