Vintage Knitting Bag in Golds, Greens, Oranges

Vintage fabric and wood frame knitting bag that converts from a carrying tote when closed to a floor stand when open. This retro piece has a fabric in vintage shades of gold, green, and orange. The fabric bag is lined with an olive green silky/satiny material. The frame is made from dark-stained wood dowels; the cross pieces are held together with brass rivets. On the top is a translucent gold plastic/lucite/bakelite handle through which a fabric loop goes. When the bag is open it measures approximately 12 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9.5 inches deep. When closed it measures approximately 14.75 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 1.5 inches deep. The knitting bag is in very good condition: intact, sturdy, and functional. There are a few small areas of discoloration on the lining, and the wood frame shows some light surface wear and scuffing. The patterned fabric shows minimal wear and is clean and free of tears.
