Not only are these some really gorgeous early satsuma earrings but also included at special earring backs that let you attach the two porcelain buttons ( smaller ones in photo) to them and not damage the shaft. The larger ones are clip on and are permanent earrings. The smaller are the button / earrings . The largest ones are 1 1/4 and are screw ons. The smaller ones are 3/4 across. Lovely pieces of art from the past!
