P> Vintage Hand Carved Shell Cameo of a lovely woman . She is set in an 800 sterling bezel.
The profile is in fairly high relief. She has a long graceful neck and lovely gentle face, and bun in her hair. A flower adorns her shoulder.
The picture shows the carving marks as well as a variation in the color of the background shell on the upper right corner above the forehead.
It measures 1 1/8 x 1 7/8 .
The condition of of cameo it's self is excellent. The silver bezel shows a bit of wear.
