Vintage Hand Carved Mother of Pearl Book Cover

Beautiful vuntage hand carved Mother of Pearl book cover. The center piece with the star is reticulated. At first, I thought the star was glued on top, but it's not. The star is raised above the cover. The back piece has a different carving in the center. It is all so delicately carved. Both pieces measure 2 1/2 ' x 4 1/2 ".
