Vintage Guatemalan Ikat Shawl Wrap or Shawl Hand Woven Wool RARE Vintage

Guatemalan Ikat Shawl Wool Wrap or Shawl that was hand made by a Mayan woman with a waist loom. The colors are fabulous here with black background and the typical ghost patterns in red separated by Kelly green stripes. The length measurement of 74 includes the nice long fringe. I picked this up many years ago on one my travels to give as a gift to someone but never did. I have one that is the same pattern that I wear every winter as it is beautiful as well as warm. It looks hot with a black leather coat. The weave is very tight and the scarf is thick and feels quite study. It is not prone to snags like some of the shawls that offered today. Plus it does not wrinkle up easily.

The condition is excellent. It never has been worn. You will treasure this wonderful and unique hand woven shawl
