Rare! Bright litho on the lid & on game booklet w/photo of Fibber McGee & Molly. They were very popular radio personalities in the 1930's & 40's. It premiered in 1935 & lasted until 1959. The game is not unlike the old game where a group tells a story by adding to the part the others have written down & passed along.....a lot of silly fun. This game has 265 silly phrase cards(some are numbered), 13 blanks, 1 blank. There is a 32 page booklet that explains the play. It also contains "the mystery" story w/lots of blanks where the silly phrases are added. Inside the booklet is also a page for keeping score...only 3 names are written there (in pencil) so think this game may have been used only once! Box is "bumped" on the edges & 1 lid corner has split but has been carefully repaired with book tissue.
