Vintage French Enamel 5 strand bib Necklace Earrings Turquoise Egyptian revival Freirich signed

Unavailable
A stunning and rare French designer necklace and earrings by Freirich. 5 strands of turquoise enameled links that lead up to one large clasp that can be worn in the front, side or back. Matching  screw on earrings complete this fabulous egyptian / victorian revival design.  - Freirich was started by Solomon Freirich in the 1920's when he bought Maison David, a major manufacturer of hats, dress trimmings and ornaments. In France, the name stayed as Maison David, but in the US, it was changed to Freirich. The mainstream of its business remained garment trimmings, dress and hat ornaments as well as hat pins. Freirich also produced buttons for famous American and European designers such as Chanel and Dior. This company is no longer in existance and is so sad. They made the most fabulous pieces!. The necklace measures 15" ( the shortest strand) when clasped with this wide ornate slide in clasp. The longest strand is 20". The necklace is heavy and well made although the enamelling has some gentle wear, it is something that just makes your jaw drop when you hold it. The matching earrings are screw on and they have a turquoise stone at the top. VintageSparkles offers Layaway on all our pieces regardless of which site it comes from..
